Tema diplomske naloge se osredotoča na urbani turizem in rekreacijo, ki sta pomembna pri načrtovanju in obnovi naselij ter mest. V diplomski nalogi je opisan zgodovinski potek razvoja urbanega turizma in rekreacije, vrste urbanega turizma, katere so značilne turistične atrakcije mest, koristi in izzivi turizma, vloga turizma, vplivi turizma na ljudi. Pomemben del diplomske naloge je namenjen razmišljanju o vpliv na novo načrtovani soseski ob Velenjskem jezeru, namenjeni prepletu dejavnosti z rekreacijo ni turizmom. Cilj diplomske naloge je bil na primeru pokazati na kakšen način lahko oblikujemo mesta in naselja z uporabo urbanega turizma in rekreacije.

Abstract

The topic of the diploma thesis focuses on urban tourism and recreation, which are important for planning and renovation of settlements and cities. In the diploma thesis is described the history and development of urban tourism and recreation, types of urban tourism, what are the characteristic of tourism attractions of cities, benefits and challenges of tourism, role of tourism, impacts of tourism on people. The most important part of diploma thesis is focused on thinking about the impact on the new planned and finally its use and impact on the newly planned housing area near by the Lake in Velenje, where the recreation and truistical activities interact. The aim of the thesis was using an example to show how cities and settlements can be designed using urban tourism and recreation
