The paper presents the first results of the NRSS project - Unknown Slovene literary manuscripts from the 17th and 18th centuries: informational-technological supported evidence, scientific publications and analyses. We present the context and goals of the project, in particular with regard to the lack of research in this field, and describe the building blocks of the digital repository. We sketch the digital encoding of the repository in XML, which is compliant with the Text Encoding Initiative Guidelines, and the software platform for searching the repository.
