Abstract

Title:MARINE EXHAUST GAS TREATMENT
Abstract:
The thesis shows the use of technical solutions to reduce harmful emissions from ships, which are produced as a byproduct of combustion. The development of technology and greater awareness of environmental protection brought us devices and systems that affect the reduction of harmful emissions that negatively affect the environment and the quality of life. The increasingly strict rules of maritime organizations have forced shipowners to install units for deeper cleaning of exhaust gases in ship systems, so that their ships meet the regulations.

Keywords:Marine exhaust gas treatment, sulphur oxide, nitric oxide, scrubber, selective catalytic reduction
