Abstract
Opisali in primerjali smo domoznanske projekte, v katerih so splošne knjižnice v Združenih državah Amerike začele zbirati gradivo na temo življenja v času covid-19.

Title:Projects of local study collections related to covid-19 pandemic
Abstract:
We have described and compared different projects in which public libraries in the United States of America begun collecting materials on the topic of life in the time of covid-19. With the help of their users, libraries wanted to show how people lived and were impacted by the pandemic. The collections are also a record of the time period which can serve as a source for researchers in the future. We have chosen a purposeful sample of three public libraries with different approaches to building the collection. We have looked at how they obtained the materials where it became apparent that the libraries' primary source were contributions by their users. We have also tried to determine the criteria used for including the sources into the collection and how they described them. All of the libraries were similar in that they used Dublin Core as their metadata schema, but the complexity of the description varied. All three libraries designed their interface primarily for browsing and not searching. The collections described in this work can be serve as an idea for similar projects in the future.
