Measurements of torque in the industry are typically carried out using torque meters called
dynamometers. In cases where the use of measuring equipment is not possible due to
inaccesibility or other reasons, measurements must done with the use of other tools. One of
the approaches for this scenario is presented in the thesis. By utilizing Weibull statistical
distribution, it is possible to obtain the value of the torque at the output of the conveyor belt
system based on the probability of element efficiency, which we obtain through
measurements of the studied system and with data processing using the selected method.
Thesis includes demonstrating the determination of efficiencies for individual elements,
using measured data to determine the parameters of the Weibull statistical distribution, and
employment of distribution to obtain the desired output torque value.
