The thesis explores the establishment of a potential conceptual or the aesthetic connection between Vitomil Zupan and Albert Camus. For this purpose, I delve into Camus's central essay The Myth of Sisyphus and his coincidental novel The Stranger, then I place both texts next to Zupan's novel Menuet za kitaro (eng. Menuet for guitar) and, using the comparative method, look for common features between the texts. Also, throughout my research, I seek to unify the worldviews of both authors.
