Abstract
Magistrsko delo in raziskovana tematika sta umeščeni v čas pandemije COVID-19 in v posledice, ki jih je situacija pustila na slovenskem turizmu. Državne institucije so bili ključni igralci ključni igralci, ki so v negotovih časih sprejemali ukrepe za omilitev posledic pandemije COVID-19 na slovenski turizem. Slovenska turistična organizacija je pri tem prestavljala ključnega partnerja pri ohranjanju in izboljšanju sodelovanja med različnimi deležniki v turističnem gospodarstvu, vključno s (potencialnimi) turisti. V luči zaostrenih zdravstvenih razmer in nezmožnosti potovanj, je Slovenska turistična organizacija prilagodila program dela. Okrepila je aktivnosti na področju vodenja javnih pozivov za deležnike slovenskega turističnega gospodarstva, usmerjala je komuniciranje slovenske turistične ponudbe, pospešeno razvijala aktivnosti na področju digitalizacije ter krepila aktivnosti na področju trajnostnega razvoja slovenskega turizma. Med najopaznejšimi aktivnostmi izstopa identifikacija Slovenije kot ključnega ciljnega trga, s ciljem hitrega okrevanje slovenskega turizma, kar je bilo doseženo s povezovanjem deležnikov v kampanjo "Moja Slovenija". Analiza je opravljena po koncu pandemije, upoštevajoč vse ukrepe in aktivnosti, ki so bili izvedeni ter dolgoročni pomen za slovenski turizem.

Title:The role of the Slovenian Tourist Board during the COVID-19 pandemic
Abstract:
This Master's thesis focuses on the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on Slovenian tourism and the subsequent consequences. During these uncertain times, state institutions were crucial in implementing measures to mitigate the pandemic's effects on the Slovenian tourism sector. Among these institutions, the Slovenian Tourist Board emerged as a key partner in maintaining and enhancing cooperation among various stakeholders in the tourism industry, including potential tourists. In light of the worsening epidemic conditions and impossible travel, the Slovenian Tourist Board adjusted the work program. It strengthened activities in the field of conducting public appeals for stakeholders in the Slovenian tourism economy, directed communication of the Slovenian tourist offer, boosted the development of activities in the digitalisation field, and strengthened activities in the sustainable development of Slovenian tourism to identify Slovenia as a key target market, with rapid recovery of Slovenian tourism as its goal. With that in mind, the campaign "My Slovenia" was developed. The analysis was carried out after the pandemic, considering all the measures and activities carried out and their long-term importance for Slovenian tourism.
