Abstract
Zato sem se odločila, da bi razvila μMOOC za višješolske učitelje z naslovom “Facilitating project-based and problem-based learning with the use of Moodle”.

Title:Development of a μMOOC course on the use of ICT in project-based and problem-based learning for the training of chemistry teachers at higher education level
Abstract:
The dynamic progress of today’s society required one to self-improve and nowhere is this more urgent than with university teachers, as they educate others. Tight schedules, lack of support afterwards and courses not adapted to their needs often drive university teachers away from learning and implementing new pedagogical practices. A solution to this might be MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) which provide adaptable timetables, can be held anywhere there is an Internet connection and are highly customizable. Problem-based and project-based learning are two pedagogical methods which have been seen to bring vast improvements to quotidian teaching and learning practices. Research also shows promise when both methods are combined with the use of ICT (Information and Communications Technology), especially LMS (Learning Management System), such as Moodle. But implementing new methods into one’s everyday teaching practice can be a daunting task. Which is why I have chosen to create a μMOOC for university educators with the title “Facilitating project-based and problem-based learning with the use of Moodle”. The course is designed to guide the user through the aspects of both methods while also teaching how to implement them with the use of Moodle. The course is designed to be as interactive as possible, with video and visual content joined by quizzes, forums, and questionnaires.
