Abstract
Diplomska naloga obravnava temo Slovencev, ki so kot prostovoljci odšli v Španijo in se pridružili boju proti fašizmu med leti 1936 in 1939. Krajše bo predstavljena zgodba, ki je Španijo pripeljala do državljanske vojne, nato bo natančneje opisana situacija, ki je ob državljanski vojni vladala v Kraljevini Jugoslaviji in pot prostovoljcev do Španije, kjer so igrali pomembno vlogo znotraj strukture internacionalnih brigad. Naloga bo opremljena s seznamom slovenskih španskih borcev, v katerega bodo zajeti njihova imena in priimki, rojstni kraji in datumi, poklici, ki so jih opravljali pred odhodom, datumi prihodov v Španijo in datumi ter kraji smrti. Iz sledečih podatkov bo napravljen primer statistike in krajevna umestitev na današnja slovenska tla. S pomočjo dostopne fotografije kakor vira bodo v diplomskem delu opisani uniforma, oprema in oborožitev, ki so jih Slovenci v internacionalnih brigadah nosili in uporabljali.

Title:But Jarama shall rattle eternally: ¡No pasarán, no pasarán! : diplomsko delo
Abstract:
The thesis deals with topic of Slovenes that joined the fight agains fascism in Spain as volunteers between 1936 and 1939. Shortly presented will be the framework in which the Spanish Civil War occured with detailed description of situation during the conflict in the Kingdom of Yugoslavia and volunteers' route to Spain where they played an important role within the structure of the international brigades. This thesis will be equipped with a list of Slovenian volunteers, which will include their names and surnames, dates of birth and places of birth, their occupations before departure, dates of arrival in Spain and dates and places of death. From the following data, an example of statistics and geographical placement on today's Slovenian territory will be made. With the help of photography as a source, the diploma thesis will describe the uniform, equipment and armament worn and used by the Slovenes in the international brigades.
