Abstract
Uvodoma je predstavljena problematika govornega učnega jezika v slovenskih šolah, osrednji del prispevka pa se osredotoča na zasnovanost, potek in rezultate raziskave, izvedene v dveh razredih Gimnazije Jurija Vege v Idriji, s katero sem ugotavljala predvsem stališča dijakov do knjižnega pogovornega jezika oziroma narečja.

Abstract:
First, the problem of the (varieties of) Slovene that teachers use in schools is presented. The central part of the paper then deals with the structure, process and results of research carried out in two classes at Gimnazija Jurij Vega in Idrija, which was aimed at eliciting students' attitudes to the standard spoken language and to dialect.
