Abstract
Prispevek obravnava medkulturno paradigmo slovenistike v tujejezičnem okolju, kjer se slovenščina poučuje kot tuji in manjšinski jezik. Medkulturni model izobraževanja manjšine in večine je model jezikovne in kulturne integracije. Prispevek oblikuje tudi vprašanja v zvezi z medkulturno paradigmo jezikoslovja ter z medkulturno komunikacijo.

Abstract:
The article deals with the intercultural paradigm of Slovene Studies in a context where Slovene is being taught as a foreign and a minority language. The intercultural model of educating both the minority and the majority is one of linguistic and cultural integration. The article also poses questions concerning the intercultural paradigm of linguistics and intercultural communication.
