The purpose of the thesis is to analyze the geometric accuracy of the data obtained using the iPhone 13 Pro with a built-in lidar sensor intended for augmented reality (AR), without specifications regarding the relative and absolute accuracy of the sensor. In the thesis, the geometric accuracy of the point cloud along a varied longitudinal object was tested. At the check points measured by the classic geodetic method, we tested whether the accuracy of the point cloud is maintained or changes with the distance from the starting point. In the assignment, we considered two cases, the geometric accuracy of the polygonal point cloud and the geometric accuracy of the point cloud when closing the loop. The results of the thesis showed that scanning longitudinal objects with an iPhone 13 Pro is not suitable for carrying out geodetic measurements.
