Abstract
Njihove mojstrovine so bile odraz vsesplošne razgledanosti, visoke izobraženosti in genialnosti. Rafael naprimer že samo na sliki Atenska šola zajame vse kategorije "renesančnega univerzalnega človeka".

Title:Symbolization of renaissance philosophy and art through Raphael's School of Athens
Abstract:
The Renaissance, which spread across Italy in the 15th century, and the world a little later, was clearly one of the most important periods in the development of mankind. The old medieval view of science, which was connected to Church dogmas and sacred elements, has been replaced by a new way of perceiving nature and placing human being at the center of research. This lead to the flourishing of science and art, especially in the area of Florence, Milan, Genoa and Rome, the main cultural and artistic centers. The spread of the ideas of humanism and renaissance lead to many new insights and discoveries that enable the development of European society. As important as intellectuals and inventors such as Cusanus, Copernicus, Kepler and Bruno were for science, the big three: Leonardo, Michelangelo and Raphael, and their contemporaries were for art. Their masterpieces were a reflection of universal awareness, high education and geniusness. For example, Raphael captures all the categories of the "Renaissance universal man" in the painting The School of Athens.
