This master’s thesis deals with the analysis of the works created during my studies of painting. In the thesis, I am thoroughly researching the idea of beauty in art, trying to interpret it through the prism of mysticism, history, religiosity, philosophy and contemporary artistic ideas.
The main goal of my research is to show the impact of the study approach on the studio-based creative process and thereby encourage critical self-reflection of one's own artistic work. The thesis incorporates Art theory theoretical insights, allowing for better comprehension and reaction to challenges arising during an artistic process. I am exploring the structure of my own creation by comparing my works with the works of authors who influenced my artistic expression and studying their interpretations in light of researching the secrets of fine arts. My works are designed in accordance with my inner feelings, thoughts, and ideas, giving them an original form and meaning.
The aim of this master’s thesis is to encourage reflection on the complexity and difficulty of painting and to understand the influence of past knowledge, theory and philosophy. As an artist, I try to weave both contemporary artistic trends and aesthetic ideals into my work, and I explore fine art and its presence on canvas.
