Abstract
Obravnavana je konstrukcija lesene brunarice, ki je bila predhodno skonstruirana. Podrobno sta pregledana standard Eurocode 1, ki je osnova za vse konstrukcije in Eurocode 5, ki se navezuje na lesene konstrukcije. Opisani so vplivi snega in vetra na konstrukcijo in izračunane njihove obremenitve. V nadaljevanju je za izbran nosilec iz masivnega lesa iglavcev izvedena trdnostna kontrola po standardu Eurocode 5. S pomočjo programa OptimalBeam so pridobljene notranje prečne sile in momenti, ki se pojavijo pri obremenitvi nosilca. S pridobljenimi podatki je izveden preračun po metodi mejnih stanj nosilnosti in po metodi mejnih stanj uporabnosti, ki sta del standarda Eurocode 5. Pri izvedbi kontrole po navedenih metodah je potrjeno, da nosilec le-tem ustreza.

Title:Strength control of the selected wooden structural support beam
Abstract:
The thesis reviews the design of a timber log cabin using Eurocode standards. Eurocode 1, which is the basis for all structures, and Eurocode 5, which relates to timber structures, are reviewed in more detail. The effects of snow and wind on the structure are described and their loads are calculated. The selected solid softwood beam is then subjected to a strength test according to Eurocode 5. OptimalBeam is used to extract the internal transverse forces and moments that occur when the beam is loaded. The data is then used to calculate the ultimate limit states and serviceability states. When the criteria of the referred methods are checked, the support beam is found to be compliant with them.
