Abstract
Dejavnosti v podjetjih so lahko različne. Glede na dejavnost podjetja so temu primerno prilagojeni organizacija dela, procesi dela, prioritete dela, načini dela in na koncu tudi organigram podjetja. Zagotovo drži, da je celostno gledano delo v razvojnem podjetju popolnoma drugačne narave kot v proizvodnem podjetju. Razlike med tema dejavnostma v podjetjih se odražajo na večini področij. Vse od različno zaposlenega kadra, organizacije podjetja, strogih pravil, motiviranja zaposlenih, bonusov zaposlenih, pripadnosti zaposlenih, prilagajanja delovnika vseskozi zaradi narave dela vse do kulture podjetja in prijetnega delovnega okolja. Podjetja, ki imajo eno dejavnost, imajo lahko v osnovi dobro organizirano delo, procese dela, načine dela, saj imajo vsi zaposleni v podjetju samo en skupni cilj, ali je to v razvojnem podjetju, kjer je cilj razviti določen izdelek ali samo polizdelek, ali v proizvodnem podjetju, kjer je cilj narediti maksimalno količino materiala glede na kapacitete proizvodnega obrata. V podjetjih, kjer imajo dve dejavnosti, je seveda izziv toliko večji. V podjetju, kjer je na eni strani razvojna dejavnost in na drugi strani proizvodna dejavnost, je seveda to toliko težje. V večini skladišč so procesi dela in organizacija dela že vnaprej določeni. Vsi postopki skladiščnega poslovanja so znani in jih je treba, za pravilno knjiženje materiala, strogo upoštevati. Tukaj ni prostora in niti ni potrebe po večji prilagodljivosti delovanja skladišča, če ima podjetje razvojno in proizvodno dejavnost, vendar je situacija popolnoma drugačna. Priporočljivo je, da se skladišče vzporedno, z razvojem novega izdelka, popolnoma prilagodi razvojni dejavnosti, vse z namenom, da se razvoju omogoči, kar se da hitro in nemoteno delovanje. Težava oziroma izziv, ki nastopi, je, ko se vpeljuje novi izdelek v proizvodni del, kjer že nastopijo zahteve po določenem redu in pravilnih postopkih dela. V magistrskem delu sta predstavljeni delovanje in poslovanje podjetja ELAPHE d. o. o., ki ima razvojno in proizvodno dejavnost. Predstavljena sta organizacija in način dela v obeh dejavnostih, kakšne so razlike med eno in drugo dejavnostjo, razlike med motiviranostjo zaposlenih v eni in drugi dejavnosti ter na koncu, kakšen kapital je v ozadju potreben, da lahko vodiš obe dejavnosti hkrati. Prikazani so primeri, kako je v določenih primerih težko delati v takšnem podjetju, saj je potrebno veliko prilagajanja, usklajevanja in v določenih primerih tudi odrekanja svojemu prostemu času. Celostno gledano je vodenje takšnega podjetja glavna problematika, ki jo bom v magistrskem delu opisal. Opisano bo tudi skladiščenje v podjetju Elaphe. Ob zaključku dela so predstavljene rešitve oziroma smernice, kako bi takšno podjetje na dolgi rok boljše delovalo in poslovalo.

Title:OPERATION AND BUSINESS IN THE DEVELOPMENT AND PRODUCTION COMPANY ELAPHE D.O.O.
Abstract:
Activities in companies can be different. Thus, the company’s activity may be adapted accordingly to the organization, processes, priorities, and methods of work, as well as the company’s organizational chart. It is certainly true that, overall, work in a development company is of a completely different nature than in a production company. The differences between these two activities are visible in most areas. Everything from requiring different skills from the employed staff to the company’s organization, strict rules, employee motivation, employee bonuses, employee affiliation, continuous adjustment of the workday due to the nature of the work, the company culture, and even developing a pleasant working environment can vary. Companies with one activity can develop well-organized work, work processes, and working methods since all employees in the company have one common goal. This applies both to development companies (where the goal is to develop a specific product or only a semi-finished product) and production companies (where the goal is to make the maximum amount of material, given the production plant’s capacity). In companies where there are multiple activities, however, the challenge is that much greater. For example, in a company with a development activity on the one hand and a production activity on the other, it is, of course, much more difficult. In most warehouses, work processes and work organization are predetermined. All warehouse business procedures are known and must be strictly adhered to in order to book the material correctly. There is no space here, and there is no need for greater flexibility in warehouse operations; however, if the company has development and production activities, the situation is completely different. It is recommended that the warehouse should be fully adapted to the development activity in parallel with the development of the new product, all with the aim of enabling the development to operate as quickly and smoothly as possible. However, challenges can arise when a new product is introduced in the production of works, where there are already demands for a certain order and correct work procedures. In this master’s thesis, the operation and business of the company ELAPHE d.o.o., which has development and production activities, is presented. The organization and way of working in both activities are presented, including an analysis of the differences between one activity and the other, the differences between the motivation of employees in one activity and the other, and, finally, what kind of capital is needed in the background to be able to run both activities at the same time. Examples are shown of how, in certain cases, it may be difficult to work in such a company, as doing so requires a lot of adaptation, coordination and, in certain cases, even giving up your free time. Overall, the management of such a company is the main issue, as is described in this master’s thesis. Storage at Elaphe is also described. At the end of the work, solutions or guidelines are presented on how such a company would function and operate better in the long run without major intermediate problems.
