Abstract
V zavarovalništvu je izrednega pomena ustrezno in učinkovito operiranje s podatki, saj razumevanje in pravilna interpretacija le-teh bistveno vplivata na poslovanje institucije. Posebej pomembno je, da rezultate predstavimo na razumljiv način ter tako omogočimo dober vpogled tudi tistim, ki nimajo poglobljenega znanja s področja zavarovalništva. V okviru diplomskega dela smo razvili spletno aplikacijo, ki lahko uporabnikom služi kot intuitivno in preprosto orodje za delo s podatki. Aplikacija, ki smo jo zasnovali v programskem jeziku Python z uporabo razvojnega ogrodja Django, omogoča enostaven uvoz podatkov s specifičnega področja zavarovalništva, nudi pregledno analizo nad njimi, možnost njihovega spreminjanja in nenazadnje grafično predstavitev. Poleg tega omogoča tudi izračun nekaterih kazalnikov, ki povzemajo kvartalno poslovanje zavarovalnice na izbranem področju.

Title:Application for processing and analysis of insurance data
Abstract:
In the field of insurance, proper and efficient handling of data is extremely important, as understanding and accurate interpretation of these data significantly impact the institution’s operations. It is especially important to present the results in an understandable manner, providing valuable insights even to those without an in-depth knowledge of insurance. As part of this project, we have developed a web application that can serve users as an intuitive and straightforward tool for working with data. The application, designed using the Python programming language and the Django development framework, enables easy data import from the specific domain of insurance. It provides a clear analysis of the data, the ability to modify them, and ultimately, graphical representation. Furthermore, it also allows the calculation of certain indicators summarizing the quarterly performance of the insurance company in the selected area.
