Abstract
Diplomsko delo opisuje izdelavo prototipnega vezja namenjenega regulaciji grelnika katalizatorja po zahtevah kupca. Prototip elektronike s podobno funkcijo, ki je bil razvit pred leti je bilo potrebno prirediti za delovanje na napetosti 48 V, mu dodati varnostne funkcije in nadgraditi s komponentami za komunikacijo z računalnikom vozila. Njegov močnostni del je v tej različici ravno tako bil deležen veliko pozornosti, saj to vezje krmili višje moči kot prototip iz katerega sem izhajal. Posebna pozornost je bila dana tudi sami temperaturni karakteristiki vezja, ker se ob delovanju pri nazivnih močeh sprošča veliko toplote. Tiskano vezje je skonstruirano in izrisano v programskem orodju Altium Designer. Končna izvedba vezja bo imela implementiranih še nekaj dodatnih sklopov za zagotavljanje funkcijske in kibernetske varnosti. Naloga regulatorja je nadzor grelnika katalizatorja za lahke dostavnike. Grelnik je nameščen v izpušnem sistemu motorja z notranjim izgorevanjem, kateri segreva pline in v kombinaciji s filtri uravnava izpust emisij v ozračje po standardu EURO 7. Njegov nadzor se v celoti vrši prek CAN komunikacije za katero skrbi računalnik vozila.

Title:Control electronics for the catalyst heater
Abstract:
Diploma thesis presents development of a prototype circuit intended for the regulation of the catalyst heater according to the customer's requirements. An electronics prototype with a similar function, which was developed years ago, had to be adapted to operate at 48 V, add appropriate safety functions and upgrade it with the necessary components for communication with the vehicle's computer. Its power part also received a lot of attention in this version, as this circuit controls higher powers than the prototype from which I started. Special attention was also paid to the temperature characteristic of the circuit itself, since a lot of heat is released when operating at rated power. The printed circuit board is designed and drawn in the Altium Designer. The final implementation of the circuit will have some additional circuit sections of functional and cyber security. The function of the regulator is to control the catalyst heater for light delivery vehicles. The heater is installed in the exhaust system of the internal combustion engine, which heats the gases and in combination with the filters, regulates the release of emissions into the atmosphere according to the EURO 7 standard. Its control is entirely carried out via CAN communication, which is taken care of by the vehicle's computer.
