Ensuring the efficient operation of these networks is becoming critical to the success and security of organizations. The thesis focuses on setting up and establishing a local communication network and a potential upgrade for cloud services. The first part of the thesis focuses on mechanisms and hardware necessary for the operation of the local network. The second part of the thesis shows the configuration of a local network that enables seamless communication among various remote units of the organization. The final section of the thesis addresses key aspects of security and cloud service optimization. It describes the cloud firewall and software-defined wide-area network, which collectively contribute to enhanced security and improved functionality of cloud services.
