In my thesis I studied and described the geomorphological characteristics of the area of the Living karst Museum, which stretches between Sežana, Lipica and the Slovenian-Italian border. My objectives were to review the literature and cartographic material, delineate the study area, carry out a morphographic analysis and synthesise the findings. The entire area classified as Karst of origin is characterised by distinctive karst landforms, which are the result of a limestone bedrock that has been significantly affected by corrosion from rainwater. All three characteristic processes are present, with dissolution being the dominant process, with water flowing mainly underground, so there are no surface watercourses and negligible accumulation of material. The main result of the thesis is a morphographic map showing the identified landforms in the study area. In cooperation with the Sežana Primary School, I organised an educational excursion to the part of the area that is the most interesting in terms of karst phenomena.
