The bachelor's thesis focuses on the Anaga Rural Park on the island of Tenerife, with the aim of exploring the issue of biodiversity conservation. The selected area is characterised by its great ecological diversity and richness, which is most strongly conditioned by the volcanic origin of the archipelago and the climatic characteristics of the area, and which, because of its uniqueness, needs to be protected. The research method used in this thesis, based on literature and interviews, explores the main threats to the area's biodiversity and identifies possible solutions and measures for biodiversity conservation.
