Nadgradnja podatkovne baze z zgodnjimi plovili, najdenimi na Ljubljanskem barju

Plovila, kot so npr. deblaki in splavi, so eden izmed prvih in pomembnih človeških izumov. Olajšan transport po vodi je veliko prispeval k razvoju trgovine, bojevanja, potovanja in drugih dejavnosti. Po svetu je veliko najdišč zgodnjih plovil in hitro se je pojavila potreba po aplikaciji, s pomočjo katere bi lahko kdorkoli, kadarkoli in kjerkoli dostopal do podatkov iz teh najdišč. Bojan Kastelic je 2015 s platformo Arches implementiral aplikacijo EarlyWatercraft.org, ki je temeljila na verziji Arches 3.0, zdaj pa zaradi novih verzij ni več funkcionalna. V nalogi prikazujem prenos baze o deblakih na najnovejšo različico Arches 7.4. Naloga podaja osnovne značilnosti platforme Arches 7.4 in opisuje samo implementacijo baze v tem okolju.

• Title: Upgrading the database of early vessels found in the Ljubljana Marshes

Abstract

Watercraft, such as logboats and rafts, are one of the earliest and highly significant human inventions. Facilitated transportation over water has greatly contributed to the development of trade, warfare, travel, and other activities. There are numerous sites around the world containing early watercraft remains, leading to the need for an application that would allow anyone to access data from these sites anytime and anywhere. In 2015, Bojan Kastelic implemented the EarlyWatercraft.org application using the Arches 3.0 platform. However, due to subsequent versions, it is no longer functional. My task was to update the logboat database to the latest version of Arches, specifically version 7.4 After the description of features of the Arches 7.4 platform the implementation of the database in this environment is presented.
