The purpose of the diploma thesis is to create a school planner, based on the target group and take in to
accout their wishes, which we got to know through survey questionnaire. Planner is an overview of
dates, where there is also space to write down events and obligations.
The theoretical part describes calendar and planner, their history, use of planner and their types. The
school planner is described more in detail, like what is its purpose and its advantages and disadvantages
compared to the digital planner. The theoretical part also describes several components of the planner,
such as typography and the apperance of the planner. This part describes types of book binding, formats,
materials used for the planner and preparation of the document for quality print.
The experimental part of thesis presents the analysis of users, which we carried out with the help of a
survey questionnaire, as well as market research, where we analyzed the competition that exists on the
Slovenian market. Through alaysis, we found out that the planner is mostly used by woman, so we
adapted it to them. The software we used to create the planner and the materials that are key to final
product are also presented. The production of planner took place after the analysis of users. The basic
idea, sketches, choice of colors, typography, production of the graphics that we used in planner, actual
production od the individual pages that are in the planner and the selected finishing touches after printing
are presented. At the end, the final product is presented, which we also printed, and estimated the final
price.
