As a part of the thesis, Telemach’s “Mobilno omrežje in ponudba” manual was upgraded with interactive elements and visually updated to better fit with the company's corporate identity.
The aim of the thesis was to study the different elements of the Telemach’s corporate identity and, based on the results, as a final goal, to include important visual elements in an interactive manual that takes into account the key elements of appropriate graphic design of files for the web.
In the theoretical part, the characteristics and usability of PDF are presented, and interactive PDF, its creation methods and functional elements are described. Corporate identity and what it is required for its redesigning is defined. The importance of graphics for easier understanding ofthe content and the importance of text visualization with emphasis on colors and typography are also presented.
In the experimental part, a visual analysis of the graphic elements of the Telemach company was carried out and, based on the results, an idea was systematically developed of how the redesigned corporate identity manual should look to better fit the current corporate identity of the company. Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Acrobat were used for redesigning and analysis. The experimental part focused on the interactive enhancement of the static manual. It was analyzed what interactive features of the PDF format allows and what features should be added to make the manual user-friendly. Interactive buttons for page navigation and an interactive table of contents were added to the manual. As part of the interactive redesigning, we compared whether it is more efficient to create an interactive manual using only Adobe InDesign or using a combination of Adobe InDesign and Acrobat.
