Abstract
Kovinski litij je odličen material za anodo v akumulatorjih zaradi nizkega elektrokemijskega potenciala in visoke teoretične kapacitete. Zaradi svoje reaktivnosti in rasti dendritov, kovinski litij še vedno ni primeren za uporabo v komercialnih akumulatorjih. Eden izmed učinkovitejših načinov zaščite elektrod je tanek premaz iz derivata celuloze. V sklopu diplomske naloge smo z elektrokemijsko impedančno spektroskopijo ugotavljali, kako tak premaz vpliva na staranje litijevih elektrod pri povišani temperaturi. Celice smo starali 1, 3 in 5 dni pri 40 °C, 50 °C in 60 °C, ter jim izmerili impedančne spektre.

Title:Effect of cellulose on the aging of lithium electrodes
Abstract:
Lithium metal is an excellent material for the anode in batteries, due to its low electrochemical potential and high theoretical capacity. Due to its reactivity and dendrite growth, lithium metal is still not suitable for use in commercial batteries. One of the more effective ways to protect electrodes is a thin coating based on a cellulose derivate. As part of the thesis work thesis, we used electrochemical impedance spectroscopy to determine how such coating affects the aging of lithium electrodes. The cells were aged for 1, 3 and 5 days at 40 °C, 50 °C and 60 °C, then their impedance spectra were measured.
