Abstract
Namen prispevka je predstaviti najpomembnejše sociolingvistične dejavnike, ki vplivajo na posameznikovo jezikovno socializacijo in odnos do jezika, in sicer pri študentih germanistike na ljubljanski Filozofski fakulteti. Za optimiranje ugotavljanja tako kompleksnih področij, kot je učenje jezika oz. jezikov, se je kot najbolj smotrn izkazal interdisciplinarni pristop, tako da je bila raziskava izvedena z metodo jezikovne biografije, ki sicer sodi v instrumentarij socioloških ved, a postaja v moderni sociolingvistiki, pa tudi tujejezični didaktiki nepogrešljiva metoda raziskovanja. V prispevku bodo prikazani metodološki pristop ter izsledki raziskave, pridobljeni z analizo jezikovnih biografij študentov enopredmetnega germanističnega študija.

Abstract:
The paper discusses the most important sociolinguistic factors affecting individual language acquisition and valorisation. The study was conducted on students of German at the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana. To optimise the analysis of this complex topic the method of language biography was chosen, which is an interdisciplinary approach and one of the methods of social studies that has recently gained relevance in foreign language acquisition and sociolinguistic research. The paper presents the methodical approach and results of the study obtained through analysis of the language autobiographies of the students.
