Abstract
V zaključni nalogi je obravnavan konzolno vpet, tanek, ploščat nosilec, ki je izpostavljen lastni teži in aerodinamičnim silam v zračnem toku. Pod vplivom sile teže in aerodinamičnih sil se nosilec močno upogne. Z izpeljanimi enačbami za velike deformacije takšnih nosilcev in znanim modelom sile upora so s pomočjo numeričnega reševanja pridobljeni teoretični rezultati. V vetrovniku so narejeni eksperimenti, katerih rezultate smo primerjali s teoretičnimi. Pokazano je, da je model sile upora ustrezen, razložili pa smo tudi vpliv različnih parametrov nosilca na upogib.

Title:Large deformations of thin beams under the influence of aerodynamic forces
Abstract:
In the final thesis, we consider a thin, flat cantilever beam that is subjected to its own weight and aerodynamic forces in the air flow. Under the influence of gravity and aerodynamic forces, the beam bends significantly. With the derived equations for large deformations of such beams and the known drag force model, theoretical results are obtained numerically. An experiment is carried out in the wind tunnel and the results are compared with the theoretical ones. It is shown that the drag force model is adequate and the influence of different beam parameters on deflection is explained.
