Abstract
Ker imajo ta sušilna sredstva različne karakteristike oziroma fizikalno-kemijske lastnosti, sem proučeval in poskušal določiti najbolj optimalen adsorbent glede na rezultate točke rosišča in energetsko učinkovitost.

Title:Influence of different adsorbents on the efficiency of the adsorption dryer
Abstract:
This thesis investigates the effects of various adsorbents on air quality and dryer efficiency. A thermally regenerated dryer was selected for testing, with a capacity suitable for research and development. During the study three different drying agents were examined - molecular sieve, silica gel, and active alumina. Their physical and chemical properties were studied to determine the most effective adsorbent for achieving optimal results in pressure dew point and energy efficiency. Energy efficiency played a crucial role in determining the quality of the adsorbent due to the amount of energy needed for regeneration. As the dryer was exposed to certain process parameters during testing, the optimal adsorbent was chosen based on both performance and economic considerations.
