Abstract
Skozi izobraževanja in prakso, kjer sem podrobneje spoznala področje rejništva, sem večkrat dobila občutek, da je glas rejnic velikokrat premalo slišan. S tem namenom sem se odločila, da skozi diplomsko nalogo raziščem potrebe in želje rejnic in rejnikov glede izobraževanj za opravljanje rejništva. V teoretičnem delu sem se osredotočila na družine in na ukrepe države za varstvo koristi otroka. Nato sem besedo namenila definiciji rejništva, kjer sem se osredotočila na pravni in socialno-delovni vidik rejništva. Skozi diplomsko nalogo sem se osredotočala predvsem na rejnice, zato sem eno izmed poglavij namenila njim. Ena izmed osrednjih tem je povezana z izobraževanji za rejnice ter z vlogo centrov za socialno delo. Na koncu teoretičnega dela sem na kratko predstavila znanja, ki lahko podprejo rejnice pri izvajanju rejniške dejavnosti. Skozi pogovore z rejnicami in s strokovnimi delavkami sem dobila vpogled v to, kakšne so potrebe rejnic po dodatnih izobraževanjih, na katerem področju dodatna izobraževanja najbolj potrebujejo ter kakšno vlogo ima pri tem center za socialno delo. S strani strokovnih delavk pa sem dobila mnenje, kako izobraževanja podprejo rejnice pri izvajanju rejniške dejavnosti.

Title:The importance of additional training for foster parents and the role of social work centres
Abstract:
Throughout education and practice, where I got to know the field of foster care in more detail, I repeatedly got the feeling that the voice of foster parents is often not heard enough. With this aim in mind, I decided to research the needs and wishes of foster parents with regard to foster care training throughout my thesis. In the theoretical part, I focused on families and state measures to protect the interests of the child. Then I dedicated a word to the definition of foster care, where I focused on the legal and social work aspects of foster care. Throughout my thesis, I focused mainly on foster parents, especially foster mothers, which is why I dedicated one of the chapters to them. One of the main topics is related to education for foster parents and the role of social work centres. At the end of the theoretical work, I briefly present knowledge that can support foster parents in the implementation of foster care activities. Through conversations with foster parents and professional workers, I gained an insight into the needs of foster parents for additional education, in which area they need this additional education the most, and what role does the social work centre play. I also got an opinion from the professional workers on how educational programs support foster parents with the implementation of foster care activities.
