In the final thesis, we focused on the effect of ceiling panels on the temperature gradient and air movement in the room. Panels have been developed as a more thermally favourable alternative to conventional heating and cooling systems, and operate on the principle of hot or cold water flowing through them to heat or cool a room. This creates summer or winter conditions and shows the impact of the use of panels on the temperature gradient and air movement in the room. The results can be used to determine the degree of thermal discomfort caused by the operation of the panels.
