Abstract
Pri varjenju aluminija in aluminijevih zlitin se varilec srečuje z raznimi izzivi, ki mu zaradi lastnosti materiala otežujejo delo. Prihaja lahko namreč do pojavov, ki zvarnemu spoju znižuje kakovost. Med te sodijo poroznost, razne razpoke, slaba trdnost vara, zajede itd. Diplomska naloga se osredotoča na študijo varjenja aluminijeve zlitine EN AW 6060 s pulznim MIG postopkom. Cilj raziskave je bil preučiti vpliv parametrov varjenja na doseganje kakovostnih spojev. Začetni del naloge opisuje teoretično plat varjenja po omenjenem postopku ter uporabljen material. Rezultati eksperimentov kažejo na to, da spreminjanje varilnih parametrov vpliva na dimenzije, trdnost, funkcionalnost ter na splošno kakovost zvara. V sklepni fazi naloge smo povzeli najboljše kombinacije parametrov za dosego kvalitetnih zvarov ter izboljšave na področju varjenja aluminija in aluminijevih zlitin s pulznim MIG postopkom.

Title:MIG welding of aluminium alloy EN AW 6060
Abstract:
When welding aluminium and aluminium alloys, the welder faces various challenges that make their work more difficult due to the properties of the material. This can lead to phenomena that decrease the quality of the weld joint, including porosity, various cracks, poor weld strength, and undercutting, among others. The diploma thesis focuses on the study of welding aluminium alloy EN AW 6060 using the pulse MIG process. The aim of the research was to examine the influence of welding parameters on achieving quality joints. The initial part of the thesis describes the theoretical aspect of welding using the mentioned process and the material used. The results of the experiments indicate that changing the welding parameters affects the dimensions, strength, functionality, and overall quality of the weld. In the final phase of the thesis, we summarized the best combinations of parameters to achieve quality welds and improvements in the field of welding aluminium and aluminium alloys using the pulse MIG process.
