Meditation has gained quite some attention in recent years and is also becoming increasingly popular in the organizational environment (Good et al. 2016). More and more research is aimed at determining the impact of meditation and mindfulness on work satisfaction, work efficiency and stress reduction in the work environment (Jochen et al. 2020). Stress in the workplace has become one of the main actors of modern life. Constant pressures from the organizations often lead to physical and mental exhaustion, so more and more individuals are resorting to finding solutions and techniques that are meant to alleviate stress and increase job satisfaction and efficiency. One such technique is also meditation. The aim of the thesis is to explore the impact of meditation, more specifically mindfulness in managing stress and increasing satisfaction and efficiency in the work environment.
