In this thesis, we analysed a didactic experimental system for demonstrating the operation
of a Pelton turbine and measuring its energy characteristics. From the theoretical principles
for calculating the energy efficiency of the Pelton turbine, we determined four physical
quantities that need to be measured in the aforementioned didactic experimental system to
determine its energy characteristics. We calibrated the measuring sensors and signal
converters and connected them to a computer. In the LabView software environment, we
designed a program that enables clear and rapid execution of measurements for plotting
energy characteristics. The measured values of energy characteristics were also presented
in the form of a hill chart.
