Abstract
Opravili smo pregled NB-IoT tehnologije in opisali glavne značilnosti ter primere uporabe v praksi. Tehnologijo smo primerjali s konkurenčnimi tehnologijami (LTE-M, LoRa, Sigfox). Opravili smo meritve porabe električnega toka na napravi Arduino MKR NB 1500, povezanim v NB-IoT omrežje, v različnih operativnih stanjih in skušali doseči najnižjo porabo, ki je zapisana v dokumentaciji.

Title:An overview of narrowband IoT technology
Abstract:
We conducted an overview of NB-IoT technology and described the main features and examples of use in practice. We compared the technology with competing technologies (LTE-M, LoRa, Sigfox). We measured the current consumption of the Arduino MKR NB 1500 device connected to the NB-IoT network in various operational states and tried to achieve the lowest consumption recorded in the documentation.
