Abstract
Dandanes so temelji uspešnega proizvodnega podjetja dobra produktivnost, kakovost, visoka dodana vrednost in krajši časi dobave ter posledično zadovoljstvo kupcev. Večino teh temeljev lahko dosežemo z zmanjševanjem izgub, za kar pa moramo dobro organizirati, vitko razmišljati in vpeljati vitko proizvodnjo. Zato je podjetje, ki se ukvarja z oblikovanjem in proizvodnjo merilne tehnike, želelo skrajšati čase sestavljanja izdelkov in s tem postati bolj vitko, kar smo poskušali doseči z optimizacijo delovnega mesta sestavljavca merilnih inštrumentov na podlagi 5S in MODAPTS metode. MODAPTS metoda se uporablja pri ponavljajočih se aktivnostih in omogoča hitrejše in lažje delo, saj odpravlja gibe, ki so nepotrebni, kar razbremeni delavca in poveča njegovo produktivnost. Metoda 5S pa je namenjena organizaciji delovnega mesta in je sestavljena iz petih korakov: ločevati, urejati, čistiti, standardizirati in vzdrževati. Z optimizacijo delovnega mesta smo uspešno skrajšali potreben čas za sestavo izdelkov in zmanjšali izgube časa, ki nastanejo pri iskanju orodja in materiala.

Title:Workplace optimisation in the production of measuring equipment based on the 5S and the MODAPTS method
Abstract:
Nowadays the foundations of a successful manufacturing are high productivity, quality, high added value, shorter delivery times and, as a result, customer satisfaction. Most of these foundations can be achieved by reducing wastes, for which we need to organize, think lean and implement lean production. Therefore, the company, which is designing and manufacturing measuring technology, wanted to reduce product assembly times and become leaner, which we tried to achieve by optimizing the workplace of the measuring instrument assembler by using 5S and MODAPTS method. The MODAPTS method is used in repetitive activities and enables faster and easier work, as it eliminates unnecessary movements, which relieves the worker and increases his productivity. The 5S method is aimed at organizing the workplace and consists of five steps: sort, set in order, shine, standardise and sustain. By optimizing the workplace, we have successfully shortened the time needed to assemble products and reduced the time lost in searching for tools and materials.
