The number of participants in road traffic is increasing year by year, and with it the danger on the road. One is never alone in traffic, which is why participation in it requires full concentration. Incidentally, the oldest and youngest license holders ar stigmatized of being bad drivers.
A lot of research supports this assumption, so I decided to delve into this topic myself. In the driving simulator it was possible to measure the psychophysical conditions of the tested drivers and, above all, to obtain information about their driving style.
The beginning of my thesis deals with the general behavior and problems of both groups, comparing them to each other and listing both positive and negative qualities. This is followed by practical work in a driving simulator, from where I have captured all the important parameters for comparing the observed groups. Data processing is followed by their interpretation and displays in the form of charts. The conclusion includes comparation of the statistically significant results with general findings on the topic of younger and older drivers.
