Abstract
Magistrsko delo raziskuje pedagoške principe in arhitekturne vidike predšolske ustanove, ki so posledica razvoja novih vzgojno-izobraževalnih pristopov za potrebe družbe prihodnosti. V smislu arhitekture se delo osredotoča na zasnovo vrtca, ki ustreza potrebam novih pedagoških smernic s prostori, ki spodbujajo samoiniciativno učenje v naravi. Na ta način vzgojno-izobraževalni proces ne poteka znotraj osnovnih enot igralnic, ampak se razširi na ambiente v okolici. Območje obdelave se nahaja ob kanjonu reke Kokre v Kranju, ki ponuja veliko biotsko raznovrstnost za varstvo in izobraževanje otrok.

Title:
Outdoor kindergarten: Conceptual design of a forest kindergarten in the Kokra River Canyon
Abstract:
The Master Thesis explores the pedagogical principles and architectural aspects of a preschool institution, which are the result of the development of new educational approaches for the needs of the society of the future. In terms of architecture, the thesis focuses on the design of a kindergarten that meets the needs of new pedagogical guidelines with spaces that encourage self-initiated learning in nature. In this way, the educational process does not take place within the basic units of the playrooms, but extends to the surroundings. The processing area is located next to the canyon of the Kokra river in Kranj, which offers a great biodiversity for the care and education of children.
