Idejna zasnova plezalenga centra v Češči vasi

Pri izdelavi magistrske naloge sem se posvetil problemu pomanjkanja infrastrukture za razvoj plezanja na Dolenjskem. Plezanje se je z letom 2021 uvrstilo med olimpijske discipline, kar je posledica vse večjega zanimanja za izvajanje tega športa. Po drugih regijah v Sloveniji se je ta športna disciplina veliko bolj razvila in se izvaja že dalj časa kot v jugovzhodnih regijah. To je posledica tega, da na Dolenjskem, v Beli krajini in širši okolici na jugovzhodu Slovenije ni infrastrukture, kjer bi se lahko izvajalo. Plezanje se je tukaj začelo razvijati po manjših stenah plezalnih društev, ki pa več ne uspejo zadostiti povpraševanju po kapacitetah, ki bi omogočile razvoj plezalnih znanj v obsegu, ki si ga plezalci želijo. Umestim ga v Novo mesto, ki ponuja odlično lokacijo zaradi bližine s Hrvaško. Plezanje je namreč tudi na Hrvaškem deležno pomanjkanja razvitosti infrastrukture in posledično tudi športa. Plezalni center bo omogočal tekme na regijski, državni in mednarodni ravni, zasnovan pa je tako za rekreativne kot profesionalne plezalce. Omogočal bo izvajanje vseh treh plezalnih disciplin – hitrostnega, balvanskega in težavnostnega plezanja. Zaradi lege na območju olimpijskega centra Novo mesto, ki obsega bazenski kompleks in velodrom z atletsko vsebino, pa bo zanimiv tudi tujim reprezentancam. Pri zasnovi sem se odmaknil od zasnove tradicionalnih plezalnih centrov, ki so postavljeni v industrijske hale. S tem sem poskusil izpostaviti razgibanost plezalnega športa in zanimive notranje opreme, ki se naj odraža tudi navzven.

Abstract

In the preparation of my master’s thesis I focused on the problem of the lack of infrastructure for the development of climbing in Dolenjska. Climbing has been classified as an Olympic discipline as of 2021, which is a result of the growing interest in the sport. Climbing is much more developed in other regions of Slovenia and has been practiced for a longer period of time than in the south-eastern regions. This is due to the fact that in Dolenjska, Bela krajina and the wider area of the South East there is no infrastructure where it can be practiced. In this region climbing has started to develop on smaller climbing associations‘ walls, but these are no longer able to meet the demand for facilities that would allow climbing skills to be developed to climbers‘ desired extent. I am placing it in Novo mesto, which offers an excellent location also due to its proximity to Croatia. This is because climbing in Croatia also suffers from a lack of development of infrastructure and, consequently, of the sport. The climbing centre will enable competitions at regional, national and international level, and it is designed for both recreational and professional climbers. It will allow all three climbing disciplines - speed, bouldering and difficulty climbing. Due to its location in the area of the Olympic Centre Novo mesto, which includes a swimming pool complex and a velodrome with athletic facilities, it will also be interesting for foreign national teams. In the design, I have moved away from the design of traditional climbing centres, which are usualy built in industrial halls. In doing so, I have tried to highlight the diversity of climbing and the interesting interior design, which should also be reflected on the outside.
