Abstract
In the dawn of the global problems of climate change, wars, overpopulation, nature devastation and various other crisis that the Earth is facing, we are forced to think about the future of the countries, neighbourhoods and foremost, the individual. Architects and Urbanists must think of different approaches to these problems, throughout planning, engineering, building and maintenance in favour of nature. This master thesis, as such, examines ways of achieving resilience as a final goal in planning one future neighbourhood, from civil initiatives to design itself. Hopefully, the project could serve as an example, of the different solutions to achieving resilience and sustainability within residential neighbourhoods. Regarding urban systems, this project will present ways to achieve resilience through infrastructural and environmental systems, as one of the frameworks of urban resilience. By introducing a self-sustaining water collection system and urban greening, we address the topic of environmental resilience, while unit planning and site urbanism address infrastructural resilience. In this project, descriptive and explanatory methods will be used, and some on-site field observations will be made to collect the needed information about the existing condition of the site and the neighbourhood. By introducing the social initiative, the concept of urban greening and collecting water systems, the project presents solutions to some of the aspects of resilience in infrastructure and the environment. Accompanying illustrations, schemes and urban plans show the implementation process. By presenting infrastructural solutions and a social initiative, we answer only some of the strategies of resilience, taking into account the necessary cooperation of different sectors of community to achieve the goal of resilience in full.

Title:Doseganje odpornih skupnosti z urbanističnim načrtovanjem in načrtovanjem: predstavljeno v kamnolomu Podutik
Abstract:
V zori globalnih problemov podnebnih sprememb, vojn, prenaseljenosti, opustošenja narave in raznih drugih kriz, s katerimi se sooča Zemlja, smo prisiljeni razmišljati o prihodnosti držav, sosedstva in predvsem posameznika. Arhitekti in urbanisti morajo razmišljati o različnih pristopih k tem problemom v celotnem načrtovanju, inženiringu, gradnji in vzdrževanju v korist narave. To magistrsko delo kot tako preučuje načine doseganja odpornosti kot končnega cilja pri načrtovanju ene bodoče soseske, od civilnih iniciativ do oblikovanja samega. Upajmo, da bi projekt lahko služil kot primer različnih rešitev za doseganje odpornosti in trajnosti v stanovanjskih soseskah. Kar zadeva urbane sisteme, bo ta projekt predstavil načine za doseganje odpornosti prek infrastrukturnih in okoljskih sistemov, kot enega od okvirjev odpornosti mest. Z uvedbo samozadostnega sistema zbiranja vode in ozelenitve mest obravnavamo temo okoljske odpornosti, medtem ko načrtovanje enot in urbanizem lokacije naslavljata infrastrukturno odpornost. Pri tem projektu bodo uporabljene deskriptivne in razlagalne metode ter izvedena nekatera terenska opazovanja za zbiranje potrebnih informacij o obstoječem stanju lokacije in soseske. Z uvedbo družbene iniciative, koncepta ozelenitve mest in zbiralnikov, projekt predstavlja rešitve za nekatere vidike odpornosti infrastrukture in okolja. Spremljajoče ilustracije, sheme in urbanistični načrti prikazujejo potek izvedbe. S predstavitvijo infrastrukturnih rešitev in družbene iniciative odgovarjamo le na nekatere strategije odpornosti, pri čemer upoštevamo potrebno sodelovanje različnih sektorjev skupnosti za doseganje cilja odpornosti v celoti.
