The Kapla Passion Play is, along with the Škofja Loka Passion Play, the only preserved Slovene dramatic text from the Baroque period and is comparable to it, both from the point of view of literary aesthetics as well as its wider meaning for Slovene culture. The paper presents the background of the Kapla Passion Play and the concept of its critical digital edition, especially the separate preparation of its diplomatic and critical transcriptions. One of the presented enrichments of the digital edition is the lemmatisation of the diplomatic transcription which serves to enable concordances of its vocabulary.
