Stereotipno študentsko življenje na ilustriranih tarot kartah

V diplomski nalogi sem raziskovala stereotipno študentsko življenje in kako ga upodobiti v kontekstu ustaljenih pomenov tarot kart, natančneje velike arkane. V teoretičnem delu sem s pomočjo intervjuja raziskala sociološki in psihološki vidik študentskega življenja ter stereotipe o tem. Preučevala sem tudi razliko med stereotipi, ki so ključni del moje raziskave o študentih, in arhetipi, ki so osnova tradicionalnih pomenov velike arkane v tarotu. V praktičnem delu sem povezala arhetipe in pomene kart iz velike arkane s stereotipi, pojmi ter pojavi iz študentskega življenja in jih upodobila v seriji ilustracij za komplet dvaindvajsetih kart velike arkane v mešani tehniki akvarela ter barvice. Oblikovala sem vodič in mošnjiček za karte.

Abstract

In my BA thesis, I researched the stereotypical student life and how to depict it in the context of already established interpretations of the major arcana of tarot cards. In the theoretical part, I researched the sociological and psychological aspect of being a student by conducting an interview. I also researched the difference between stereotyped, which were a key part of my research about students, and archetypes, which are the basis of the major arcana in the tarot. I connected the archetypes of major arcana with the stereotypes from the student life and depicted them in a series of illustrations for my deck of the twenty-two major arcana cards in the practical part of my thesis. The series was done in a mixed medium of watercolour and coloring pencils. I also designed the guidebook and a pouch to hold the cards.
