Abstract
V diplomski nalogi je predstavljen projekt avtomatizacije naprave za izdelavo vrečk za smeti, ki predeluje različne dimenzije kolutov folij v različne dimenzije vrečk. V prvem delu navede razloge, zakaj sploh avtomatiziramo naprave in kaj nam to prinese. Zraven pa še poda namen avtomatizacije naprave. V drugem delu se dotika vseh tem, ki jih moramo obdelati pri zasnovi, kot je izbira senzorjev, programirljivega logičnega krmilnika, varnosti in ostalih problemov, ki se pokažejo med delom. Opiše tudi stanje naprave pred dodatno avtomatizacijo. V tretjem delu opisuje programiranje v programskem okolju Arduino.ino, kjer navede spremenljivke, uporabo knjižnic, ukazov, funkcij in operatorjev. V četrtem delu opisuje delovanje avtomatiziranega dela in postopke programiranja.

Title:Automated device for garbage bag production
Abstract:
The thesis presents a project for the automation of a machine for garbage bag production that processes different sizes of film rolls into different sizes of bags. In the first part, it describes the reasons why we automate the machines in the first place and what are its consequences. Further on, it describes the purpose of automating the garbage bag production machine. In the second part, the thesis presents all the topics that we need to address in the automation design, such as the choice of sensors, programmable logic controller, safety features, and also problems that arise during the process. It also describes the state of the plant before further automation. The third part describes programming in the programming environment Arduino.ino, variables, libraries, commands, functions, and operators. In the fourth part, it describes the operation of the automated part and the programming procedures.
