Abstract
Za določitev odziva na vzvojno obremenjevanje je treba uporabiti namensko vzvojno preizkuševališče. Lahko pa na natezno-tlačnem preizkuševališču postavimo vmesnik, ki poleg pretvorbe natezno-tlačnega v vzvojno obremenjevanje omogoča tudi merjenje vzvojnega napetostno-deformacijskega odziva. V okviru magistrskega dela smo konstruirali vmesnik za izvajanje vzvojnih obremenitev na natezno-tlačnem preizkuševališču. Postavili smo analitični in numerični model in z njima ovrednotili vmesnik. Nato smo na preizkuševališču izvedli porušitvene teste na različnih nivojih za izris Coffin-Mansonove krivulje ter inkrementalni test za določitev stabilizirane ciklične krivulje. Rezultate analitičnega in numeričnega modela smo primerjali z rezultati, ki smo jih določili eksperimentalno. Preizkuševališče smo ovrednotili na način, ki omogoča zamenjavo materiala preizkušancev, ponovitev postopka kalibracije in izvedbo večjega števila eksperimentalnih testov.

Title:Design of adapter for torsional loading on tensile-compressive test rig
Abstract:
Estimating the response to torsional loading requires the use of a dedicated torsional test rig. Alternatively, an adapter that converts an usual tension-compression loading into torsional loading can be applied. The adapter also enables the measurement of the torsional stress-strain response. In this master thesis, an adapter was designed for the implementation of torsional loads on a tensile-compressive test rig. An analytical and numerical model were built to ensure the adapter’s evaluation. Then, fatiguelife experiments were conducted at various levels to plot the Coffin-Manson curve and incremental test to determine the stabilized cyclical curve. The results of the analytical and numerical model were carried out with the results determined experimentally. The test rig was evaluated in a way that allows changing the material of the specimen, repeating the calibration process and performing a larger number of experimental tests.
