Zaupati prostoru. Idejna zasnova porodnega centra, Repnje pri Vodicah

Magistrsko delo prikazuje idejno zasnovo porodnega centra v Repnjah. Porodni centri so ustanove, ki so vmesna možnost poroda v porodnišnici in poroda na domu. Združujejo udobje doma in varnost porodnišnice, v slovenskem prostoru pa je edini približek babiška hiša v sklopu bolnišnice za ženske belezni in porodništvo Postojna. Nerizični porodi so postali zelo medikalizirani, čeprav pri nosečnosti ne gre za bolezensko stanje. Stresno okolje porodnišnic velikokrat škodi zdravim nosečnicam in poveča možnost zapletov pri porodu. Naloga se ukvarja z oblikovanjem prostora in vplivom okolja na porodnico. V Sloveniji ni primerljivega objekta, zato sem se seznanila s porodnimi centri v tujini in se izobraževala na področju zgodovinskega in socialno-psihološkega vidika rojstva, hospitalizacije in vpliva arhitekture na mentalno in fizično stanje uporabnikov. Cilj je bil oblikovati kompleks za oskrbo in izobraževanje žensk pred, med in po porodu ter omogočiti dodatno možnost za izbiro kraja poroda v družinskem okolju, ki bi dal porodnicam več možnosti in moči po odločanju o porodnih okoliščinah. Koncept zasnove objekta izhaja iz raziskave odnosa med zagotavljanjem intime in udobja posameznika ter potrebno prostornino za obsežen program porodnega centra. Objekt je razčlenjen z atriji, ki pripomorejo k naravni osvetljenosti notranjosti, omogočajo povezanost intimnih delov z javnimi ter nudijo hitro dostopnost do raznih delov objekta. Program je deljen na: Izobraževalni del, klinični del in porodni del. Porodni apartmaji nudijo popolno intimo in hkrati povezavo z bližnjimi ter tako spodbujejo željo po druženju in oblikovanju skupnosti.

• Title: Trusting space. Conceptual design of a birth center, Repnje pri Vodicah

Abstract

The master’s thesis shows the conceptual design of a birth center in Repnje. Birth centers are institutions that are an option between births in hospitals and home births. They combine the comfort of home and the safety of a hospital. Low-risk births have become highly medicalized, even though pregnancy is not a medical condition. The stress of hospitals often harms healthy pregnant women and increases the possibility of complications during childbirth. The assignment deals with the design of safe spaces for women in labor. There is no comparable facility in Slovenia, so I became familiar with birth centers abroad and researched the historical and social-psychological aspects of birth and the influence of architecture on the mental and physical state of users. The goal was to create a center for the care and education of women pre, during and after childbirth, and to provide an additional choice of a birth place, which would give pregnant women more power. The concept comes from researching the relationship between intimacy and comfort for the individual and providing the necessary volume for the extensive program of the birth center. The building is divided with the help of atriums, which contribute to the natural lighting of the interior, enable the connection of intimate rooms with social ones and provide quick access to various parts of the building. The program is divided into: Educational, clinical and delivery. The birthing rooms offer complete intimacy and a connection with loved ones, thus building the possibility of community and socializing.
