Abstract

Title:Analysis of loads and the stress-strain state of the human pelvis
Abstract:
Pelvic fractures and injuries contribute to significantly higher mortality of injured patients. A tool that would allow suitability assessment of possible osteosynthesis solutions would increase the chances of patients' survival and their rapid recovery. With the help of dynamic simulation of movement using a musculoskeletal model, we obtained muscle and joint forces during movement. We developed a numerical model that enables a dynamic analysis of the stress-strain state of the pelvis during movement and includes joint and muscle forces. We successfully determined the stress-strain state in the pelvis during sit-to-stand transfer.
