Small businesses are vital to the economy, but they often face challenges related to managing their energy consumption. The purpose of this thesis is to identify and evaluate measures to reduce energy use in a small business. The research is based on a review of relevant literature and case studies of small businesses that have implemented energy-saving measures. The results indicate that small businesses can reduce energy use by adopting energy-efficient technologies, implementing energy management systems, and educating employees on energy-saving practices. Additionally, financial incentives and support from government agencies can help small businesses overcome barriers to implementing energy-saving measures. The thesis concludes that small businesses have the potential to significantly reduce their energy consumption and save money by implementing energy-saving measures.
