Konceptualne prvine funkcijskostrukturalne slovnice : (primerjalno s Toporišičevo slovnico)

Funkcijski strukturalizem temelji na razumevanju jezika kot sistema hierarhiziranih izrazno-pomenskih odvisnostnih povezav, ki tvorijo smiselno funkcionalno celoto; njena izhodiščna in hkrati temeljna komunikacijska enota je izražena že v stavčno strukturirani povedi. Besedne vrste osmišlja sposobnost modificiranja v funkcijo stavčnih členov, katerih pomenska referenca, ko gre za endogene lekseme, so propozicijski členi povedi.

Abstract

Functional structuralism is based on an understanding of language as a hierarchical expressive-semantic dependence of connections which form a meaningful functional whole. Its starting point and basic unit of communication is expressed in the function of the sentence elements. Word types are given meaning by the capacity of modification as sentence elements, the semantic reference of which, when endogenous lexemes are concerned, is the propositional sentence elements.
