The master's thesis broadly discusses the basics of spherical geometry. The emphasis is on the triangle, where we prove important identities that we use for Lambert, Ceva and Menelaus's theorem and the rule of four quantities. With the help of said results we also show some basic facts about polytopes; especially Platonic solids. During the course of the work we try to bring the motivation (often from the point of astronomy) to formulas and theorems.
