The 1790 manuscript Življenje, regirenga inu smrt Antikrista (The Life, Reign, and Death of the Antichrist) is a text by an unschooled Carinthian writer about the Antichrist, a negative figure in Christian eschatology. This article examines the role of four cities - Babylon and Jerusalem from the Bible and imperial Rome and Constantinople as symbols of hell and heaven.
