Abstract
Hidrogeli so hidrofilni polimeri, zamreženi v tridimenzionalno strukturo, ki lahko zadržijo veliko količino vode, pri čemer zaradi kemičnih/ali fizičnih interakcij med posameznimi verigami ohranijo strukturo. Imajo več vrst klasifikacij. Posebna in zelo aktualna veja hidrogelov so antimikrobni hidrogeli/polimeri, ki izkazujejo antimikrobne lastnosti. V diplomskem delu je bil sintentiziran hidrogel iz hitozana, naravnega polimera, ki izkazuje antimikrobne lastnosti. Gel smo tvorili z uporabo metode elektrodepozicije v šaržnem in pretočnem sistemu in ga analizirali z optičnim mikroskopom. V drugem delu eksperimentalnega dela smo na nastali hidrogel v pretočnem sistemu modificirali katehol, organsko molekulo, ki prav tako deluje antimikrobno ter ima odlične pritrjevalne lastnosti. Modificiran hidrogel smo nato analizirali z infrardečo spektroskopijo s Fourierjevo transformacijo.

Title:Synthesis of biocompatible films/hydrogels with antimicrobial activity using microreactor technology
Abstract:
Hydrogels are hydrophilic polymers cross-linked into a three-dimensional structure that can hold a large amount of water while retaining their structure due to chemical and/or physical interactions between the individual chains. They have several types of classifications, a special and very topical branch of hydrogels are antimicrobial hydrogels/polymers, which exhibit antimicrobial properties. In this thesis, a hydrogel was synthesised from Chitosan, a polymer found in nature that contains antimicrobial properties. The gel was formed using the electrodeposition method in a batch and flow system and analysed by optical microscopy. In the second part of the experimental work, Catechol, an organic compound which also has antimicrobial activity and excellent anchoring properties, was modified on the resulting hydrogel in a flow system. The modified hydrogel was then analysed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy.
